BMW has announced the addition of the X1 to the list of its 2013 models. George Soliman, Director of sales for BMW Egypt, announced its 2013 model line, which included the addition of the X1 model. The company had previously announced other models that were part of the 2013 line, including the 2,000 CC BMW300 with a price tag between EGP 440,000 and EGP 500,000, the 3,000 CC BMW500, costing between EGP 528,000 and EGP 648,000, and the X3 at EGP 520,000. The X1 will have a price tag of approximately EGP 290,000.
Soliman did not express any concern regarding the new high priced luxury models for sale. He said that there is usually a market for such vehicles even during times of recession such as the one currently affecting the Egyptian economy.
He added that BMW had re-opened its Almaza maintenance centre. The facility is considered one of the most important maintenance centres in Egypt. The BMW maintenance centre has been outfitted with the most advanced technology in order to provide the best quality services to customers.
Soliman noted that BMW hopes to extend its maintenance services to every part of Egypt in order to meet the needs of its customers.
