The UAE property development company DAMAC is set to launch a new real estate development project in Dubai, to construct a series of new full service hotel and apartment properties.

The project, according to the Emirati News Agency (WAM), is set to be constructed in the northern part of the city overlooking the Dubai Creek, located between the Rashid Port and the Dubai dry docks.

Ziyad al-Shaar, executive director of DAMAC Properties, said that Dubai would be the heart of the company’s new real estate development project in the Middle East.

DAMAC Properties has so far constructed 66 buildings in the Middle East North Africa (MENA) region, 37 of them in the Middle East, with the company’s new project set to bring that number up to 104.
