Al-Ahly was able to win this historic tournament due to Abou Trika netting a famous goal against Tunisia CSS’s in the Rades Stadium.

Moteab was close to the target of 400 but fate allowed Ahmed Abdel Zaher, Al-Ahly striker, the opportunity to become part of Al-Ahly’s African history. Abdel Zaher scored goal number 400, representing his first African goal while wearing the Al-Ahly jersey.
