A bomb exploded in front of a film theatre in Haram, while another was detected in the area of Talbiya in Giza, according to state media reports.
The area is currently being combed for more explosive devices.
A representative from interior ministry press office told Daily News Egypt that there are no injuries.
The areas of Talbiya and Nahya saw protests break out this morning after the Eid Al-Fitr prayers.
According to the interior ministry press office, approximately 300 protesters in Talbiya and 100 others in Nahya, allegedly Muslim Brotherhood members, fired birdshots at civilians. Clashes erupted, resulting in the death of six civilians and the arrest of 15 others.
