Cityscape Egypt exhibition’s fourth round will be inaugurated Wednesday by Minister of Housing Mostafa Madbouly.

The exhibition will witness the attendance of 100 exhibitors, and is expected to attract more than 13,000 visitors, according to a Tuesday statement.

The exhibition will take place at the Cairo International Convention Center for four days, from 16 to 19 September.

The demand on the housing units is continuously increasing, which makes the real estate sector one of the most promising and stable sectors, according to investors.

There is increased demand on housing units in compounds in new urban settlements outside the overpopulated central Cairo districts, according to Coldwell Banker’s Vice President for Housing, Amr Mohsen.

“We believe that the Cityscape exhibition this year will be one of the most successful rounds ever in terms of exhibitors’ sales and in satisfying the visitors’ needs in finding the right home,” said the Director of Cityscape Group, Wouter Molman, in a closing speech on the first day of Cityscape real estate summit held Monday.

The exhibition will showcase hundreds of projects to choose from for prospective homebuyers and investors, located across Greater Cairo, North Coast, the Red Sea and overseas, according to Molman.

“Overall, the participation in Cityscape Egypt has grown and strengthened again this year. While it is true that a few developers did not manage to make it to the show this year, several new developers, such as Better Home, Laguna Bay, Qatari Diar, and many others, are joining the event for the first time,” Molman told Daily News Egypt.

He added that market leaders, including Emaar Misr, Talaat Mostafa Group (TMG), Palm Hills Developments, Rooya Group, Wadi Degla, and many others, will all be present again, with several of them having booked larger stands to showcase their latest projects.

Regarding companies that are not participating at the Cityscape exhibition this year, Molman said these companies have done so due to internal planning reasons, and Cityscape is already working with them to welcome them back again in 2016, when the event will take place again in April.

Cityscape is sponsored this year by El Taamir Mortage Finance Company (Al Oula) as the gold sponsor and Colliers International as associate conference sponsor.
