Interstellar Tsunami

A slither of a moon, boomeranging through the universe. Spinning among other planets and revolving doorways to other galaxies. Not too far from the moon, a star stood silently in the middle of space, surrounded by many other stars like itself, positioned millions of miles away. This star however stood quieter than the rest. The tolerance level of fusion was becoming high within the star, thus fusing its elements into iron. This causes the reaction of the elements in the stars to burn out and thus the balance within the star is lost; sort of like the quiet before the storm.

Suddenly, the space surrounding the star is showered in bright light. An explosion. Gravity took over, causing the star to collapse inward, throwing off its outer layers in the stemming shock waves. The blast ripped the star apart, causing its many pieces to shoot in many directions with speed nullifying the concept of time, of space, of anything within the two.

While the many pieces of the supernova continued to fly outwards, stretching the universe out with it, other rocks and planets witnessing this event remained humming in their place, each to a different tune. The smaller stars – the boring little ones – stared with envy at the supernova as it continued to reach out further and further in the universe. The smaller stars would then withdraw their eyes from the scene, focusing on existing in their state of equilibrium forever.
As you sit there in the centre of the room, your eyes heavy with lack of sleep, you think to yourself: “You didn’t expect all of this, did you?”

With your legs crossed somewhat submissively and your hands folded on your knees, you wonder to yourself: “Does any of this even matter?”

The supernova continues to venture through the expanding universe, billions of years into the future, while you sit there unaware of all that is going on. Dark stars and dark matters are waiting in the corners of the universe, mute and undisturbed, stars that existed long before you were born. Long before the universe itself was created.

And you, looking around you in your tiny little world with your tired sad eyes, you sit there and think of all the possibilities that could have been, the shortcomings that you’re made up of. Don’t worry. Within you are many suns, many moons, and many stars, all exploding and creating an infinite amount of space within you and without you. Dark stars and boomerangs, all revolving through you and exploring the universe, making new discoveries just like you are.

You think you deserve better than this and you probably do. It requires endurance and a peace of mind to become a supernova, to reach out and further than all the other boring little stars.

You, sitting there in the centre of the room, engulfing the room with quietness, with your legs crossed and your mind wandering. You won’t have it figured out anytime soon but not before long, with a little patience and endurance, your tolerance level will not withstand the fusion infusing within you and you too will reach your quiet before the storm.
