Global Finance chose Banque Misr as the Best Provider of Money Market Funds and Short Term Investments in the Middle East, in 2016.
According to a press release from the bank, this is the eighth time that Banque Misr has been awarded the title.
Global Finance is based in New York, and is the largest specialised financial publication in the world.
In choosing award winners, Global Finance takes into consideration international banking standards, as well as the opinions of a distinguished group of international bankers and analysts.
The title is awarded to the most outstanding bank in terms of profitability, quality of customer service, market share, competitive prices, and use of innovative banking technologies.
Banque Misr stated that while this award raises the bar for the future success of the bank, it also highlights the bank’s leadership and achievement of the highest returns in the Middle East, thanks to efficient administration and cooperation with specialised companies in the field.

The Bank also provides their clients with financial and investment services, including investment banking services, custodians’ services, securities, and promotion and issuance of bonds.
Banque Misr won the award for Best Provider of Money Market Funds in Africa and the Middle East in 2009 and 2010, in addition to winning the same award for the Middle East region in 2008, 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015.
