MTI, the agent of Jaguar and Land Rover in Egypt, seeks to introduce a new concept for SUVs through Land Rover cars, general manager of the company Ahmed Al-Gharib said.
Al-Gharib added that the company, through the Auomech Formula, seeks to introduce customers to SUV cars as well as the sedan.
At a press conference during the Automech Formula exhibition, he explained that the company’s sales grew by 50% last year.
The major challenge facing the automotive sector is the shortage of dollar currency, said Al-Gharib. He added that the rise in the exchange rate affects the price of cars, making it difficult to set prices.
Al-Gharib said that Jaguar’s global company stands by its agents in Egypt in the face of the currency crisis, and that he is looking forward to resolving this crisis soon.
He explained that the state’s current monetary policies impacted the development of the company’s short and average term future plans.
MTI Company presented new models to the public in the Automech Formula exhibition. These models are Jaguar XE, XF, and E-PACE.
