Students claim they killed thief to return snatched bag

Al-Nozha Investigation police department has revealed the mystery of a young man s body found in Masaken Al-Sheraton hinterland.Assistant Interior Minister for the General Directorate of Cairo Investigation Maj. Gen. Ahmed Abdel-Jawwad received a note from Al-Nozha inhabitants that they found a body of a young man in that area. The victim turned out to be a jobless young man, 25 years old, stabbed in the chest. A private car license, LE 200 and a mobile phone were found with him. According to the police, investigations revealed that the car was reported in the New Cairo Police Station as stolen and the mobile phone was owned by a 31-year-old female employee from Nasr City. The lady reported to the police that a person in car had stolen her bag while she was walking in Zahraa Al-Maadi.A student at New Cairo Academy was accompanying three of his friends in his car when they saw a person snatching the lady s bag, according to investigations. They chased that person until they caught him in Masaken Al-Sheraton and one of them stabbed him with a dagger, they claim. The say they left the victim and took the lady s bag and headed for her apartment in order to return it. Three of them were arrested while they were in her apartment, and the fourth has not been arrested yet.First Assistant Interior Minister for Cairo Security Maj. Gen. Ismail Al-Sha ir ordered the suspects be referred to the Prosecution Office for investigation and the fugitive be arrested immediately.
