CAIRO: Egyptian champions Al Ahli won 4-0 at Ismaili to finish the league unbeaten for the second season in a row. Last year s African Champions League winners dominated Monday s ill-tempered game to finish the 26-match league program 14 points ahead of runners-up Zamalek. Al Ahli won 23 of their matches, drawing the other three. The previous season they drew just twice in an unbeaten campaign and have not lost since June 2004 in Egyptian and continental competition. Their only setback was at the Club World Championship in Japan last December, where they were Africa s representatives but lost in the first round. Monday s match was marred by an attack on the referee by Ismaili s captain Mohamed Homous after Al Ahli had been awarded a penalty two minutes before halftime. Egyptian international Mohamed Aboutrika, one of the heroes of his country s triumph at the African Nations Cup earlier this year, netted twice to finish as the league s top scorer with 18 goals.
