AIRO: The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) announced the fixtures of this season s Egyptian Cup competition, with top two Al Ahly and Zamalek handed easy first round draws.
The first round of 32 will see champions Al Ahly facing the winner from the preliminary round game between second division duo Asyut Petroleum and Souhag.
Whilst runners-up Zamalek will get the winner from Al-Nassr vs Ismailia Electricity clash in the preliminaries.
The two games will be played on Dec. 30 and 31 respectively.
The round of 32 games is scheduled for Jan. 4 and 5, while the round of 16 will be played one week later. Both rounds will not feature national team players, who will be on international duty in Ghana 2008.
