CAIRO: Zamalek s hopes of signing Junior Agogo have been dashed as the Whites failed to meet the Ghana striker s financial demands.
Agogo met with Zamalek board member Amr Al-Ganaini on Tuesday in Dubai, but a contract agreement was not reached.
The 29-year-old forward, who helped Nottingham Forest win Championship promotion last season, is believed to be in talks with two Emirate clubs as well.
Agogo scored three goals in two 2010 World Cup qualifiers so far, as the Black Stars lead Group 5 with six points.
