CAIRO: Zamalek captain Ayman Abdel Aziz said that the club has reached an agreement with Hani Saied over the complicated transfer case.

Saied, who refused to sign a contract with the Whites last week, vowed to raise his infamous case to FIFA after the Egyptian FA obliged him to join Zamalek.

The Egypt sweeper insisted that he will never play for Zamalek, following a series of controversial events surrounding his u-turn decision.

However, new skipper Abdul-Aziz claims that the problem is set to be resolved without providing further details.

Club officials have met an agreement with Hani, and he should officially sign in the upcoming few hours, the former Trabzonspor man told FilGoal.com.

Saied should be included in Zamalek s CAF Champions League squad as the Whites prepare to take on Ahly in the group stage opener. The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) will suspend Hani Saied for six months if he does not uphold his agreement with Zamalek club, EFA president Samir Zaher said on Monday.

The Egyptian FA has decided to grant Saied a one-month grace period during which he should complete his signing for Zamalek, Zaher told TV Show Sports.

If Saied does not comply, he will face a six-month suspension, he added.

The EFA fined the international defender and obliged him to fulfill his preliminary contract with Zamalek after he refused to complete the move to the Cairo club from Ismaili.

Zaher also condemned the frenzy surrounding the local transfer market this off-season and warned that the situation could soon get out of hand.

I received an SMS from the Ahly Supporters Coalition demanding that Saied be allowed to play for their club.

If things will be run this way, then it would be better if we disband the EFA and committees and let club coalitions run football in the country.
