CAIRO: Mohamed Abdel-Wahed scored one goal and set up another to help Lierse crush their visitors Eupen 4-1 in the Belgian second division.

The Egyptian midfielder hit the second goal of the game in the 25th minute after Jurgen Cavens had opened the scoring for Lierse early on.

Frederic Frans added a third before half-time when he connected with Abdel-Wahed s corner kick. Cavens completed the rout with his second of the game four minutes from time.

Sherif Al-Beyali also featured from the start for Lierse, but Ahmed Samir was suspended.

Lierse remain second of the table with 50 points, five adrift of leaders Sint-Truidense.
