CAIRO: Petrojet manager Mokhtar Mokhtar is angry over the number of chances his players squandered during the past three matches in the league.

The Suez-based side downed Olympic 3-1 on Saturday to gain nine points in three league games.

Yet, the former Ahly star said fixing the “wastefulness problem is more important than the winning streak, despite the fact that his side scored 10 goals in three games.

The forwards were too nervous to go through with all the chances they had, Mokhtar told FilGoal.com.

We should find a solution for this problem to avoid last season s slip.

Petrojet were contenders for the title until the final stages but ended the season sluggishly to finish fifth.

They next take on champions Ahly, who won only once in three league games so far.
