CAIRO: Ahly will be without influential midfielder Mohamed Barakat when they visit Asyut Petroleum in the Egyptian Premier League on Monday.

The 31-year-old was struggling with a hamstring problem since last week s 1-0 defeat to Ismaili, and Manuel Jose has eventually decided to rest him.

Ahly, who already miss Mohamed Abou-Trika to injury, will be without goalkeeper Amir Abdel-Hamid.

Abdel-Hamid sustained an ankle injury in training at the weekend, which means that Ramzi Saleh will be given the nod again.

The Red Devils welcome back midfield trio Ahmed Hassan, Hossam Ashour and Ahmed Fathi.

Fathi and Hassan missed the Ismaili game through suspension, while Ashour has completed his recovery from a knee injury.

Striker Ahmed Hassan Farag made way for Hani Al-Egeizi.
