CAIRO: Egyptian Football Association president Samir Zaher said that Ahli, ENPPI and Harras Hodoud should play their upcoming CAF Confederation Cup games without their Egypt players.
The three clubs games in the competition will coincide with Egypt s scheduled friendly against Oman on May 31.
Zaher is convinced that international players called up by Egypt coach Hassan Shehata should be at the Pharaohs disposal ahead of the Algeria game on June 7.
I will ask Ahly, ENPPI and Harras presidents not to field their international players in the CAF Cup, Zaher told FilGoal.com.
Players chosen for the Oman friendly should not play in the CAF Cup.
The Oman friendly comes as part of Egypt s preparations for the World Cup qualifier against Algeria, as well as the FIFA Confederations Cup.
