CAIRO: ENPPI lost 1-0 at Angola s Santos in the CAF Confederation Cup group stage opener on Sunday.
The Petroleum side conceded the match s sole goal in the second half of the game, and now they lie at the bottom of Group A.
ENPPI s next match in the continental competition will be against ES Setif on Aug. 2 in Cairo.
AS Vita Club will host Setif later on Sunday in another Group A match.
A couple of months ago, Santos ousted Egyptian champions Ahly from the CAF Champions League round of 16 on penalties.
