CAIRO: Ahly defender Sherif Abdel-Fadil is set return to the Egypt squad, according to the Cairo giants official site.
Ahly said that Egypt assistant coach Shawki Gharib has exclusively assured their website that “Abdel-Fadil will be included in the national team s provisional squad ahead of the qualifier in Zambia.
During his Ismaili days, Abdel-Fadil has been recalled by Egypt at the end of last season, but has yet to make his competitive debut.
The 26-year-old missed out on previous camps though, but is set to return after some impressive displays with Ahly in the league.
Hassan Shehata will name 30 players for the crucial World Cup qualifier on Oct.10, preceded by a friendly match.
