Hodoud held at home

Masri came from behind to hold Harras Hodoud to a 2-2 draw in a rescheduled Egyptian Premier League match at Max Stadium on Sunday.

Hodoud took an early lead when Ahmed Eid cannoned an unstoppable shot from inside the area two minutes after the kickoff.

Ahmed Abdul-Ghani scored the second for the home side three minutes later upon converting a penalty kick.

The Port Said side replied shortly after, when Wageh Abdul-Azim reduced the arrears on 12 minutes with a close-range effort.

Ahmed Osman restored parity five minutes from the half-hour mark.

Hodoud, who have one more match in hand, are now in fifth place with nine points, while Masri are 13th on five.
