CAIRO: Algeria will not take a defensive approach when they visit Egypt on Saturday, as reflected by the Desert Foxes skipper Yazid Mansouri. Algeria need to avoid a three-goal-margin defeat in Cairo to go through to the World Cup, even so Mansouri eyes Essam Al-Hadari s net.

We ve got a real advantage. We ve been strong all through qualifying and need to prove it one last time, the Lorient midfielder told FIFA.com.

It s up to them to make the running, not us. That said, we won t go to Cairo to defend. We ll do everything we can to take our chances. I know we can score over there.

Mansouri explained how important the game will be for him, his teammates and the Algerian community.

It s got the makings of a great game, the kind of match that every footballer dreams of taking part in one day. We need to treat this game as an opportunity, he added.

We ve slowly been realizing that we can leave our mark on the history of our country.

This time, it s going to be the match of our lives. We already have a great week together ahead of us.
