CAIRO: Police Union claimed a thumping 4-0 victory over Egyptian Premier League strugglers Ghazl Mahalla in a match that witnessed three penalties and five expulsions.
After just one minute, Police were reduced to 10 men when Samuel Kyere was given straight red for a vicious foul.
However, the home side were given a penalty six minutes later, converted successfully by defender Ahmed Dweidar.
In the 21st minute, Mahalla s Marzouk Salah followed Kyere out of the game to make it 10 against 10.
At the stroke of half-time, Dweidar notched home another spot kick to double the lead.
Nigerian forward Minusu Bouba made it three in the 58th minute, before scoring from the spot again three minutes from time.
In addition to the two red cards, two officials from Mahalla were sent off for protesting, followed by Police managing director Tarek Gamil.
