CAIRO: A misfiring Arab Contractors side had a one-goal advantage overturned to lose 2-1 at ENPPI in the Egyptian Premier League on Tuesday.

The Mountain Wolves were fired in front only after four minutes when Reda Al-Weeshi hit the opener upon diverting a left cross into the net.

Vincent Die Foneye notched a leveler for the home side 20 minutes from time with a powerful shot from long range.

The Ivorian forward turned from scorer to provider in stoppage time when his headed assist fell meekly to Ahmed Raouf, who slotted home from inside the area.

Having won the game, ENPPI moved up to sixth place with 20 points, while Contractors remain ninth on 18.

Contractors could have ended the game in a deserved victory if it wasn t for their wastefulness.

Alaa Kamal wasted a golden chance to double the visitors lead when he failed to convert a penalty kick five minutes past the hour mark. Die Foneye equalized shortly afterwards.

Ehab Al-Masri squandered another clear-cut opportunity on 85 minutes when he dribbled past the keeper but failed to poke into an empty net when his poor finish was cleared by a challenger.
