CAIRO: Zamalek s out-of-favor keeper Mohamed Abdel-Monsef says he has reached a final agreement with Gouna over an imminent move this winter.

I ve worked out the details of the deal with Gouna coach Ismail Youssef, the towering goalie told FilGoal.com.

I haven t penned the contract yet because I prefer to leave by mutual consent, so I want Gouna and Zamalek to be on the same page.

Abdel-Monsef has recently handed in a transfer request to Zamalek after he once again lost his regular starting berth.

The 32-year-old joined Zamalek from Dina Farms in the summer of 1999 but was always rated as a back-up goalie.

He played regularly on numerous occasions though due to first-choice keeper Abdel-Wahed Al-Sayed s persistent injury problems.

Al-Sayed, who seems to have finally shaken off his niggling complaints, produced some impressive displays this season to restore his place between the sticks.

Disgruntled custodian Abdel-Monsef is also understood to be targeted by Petrojet, Harras Hodoud, ENPPI and Turkish club Diyarbakirspor.
