Magdi Abdel Ghani, director of Universal Group for Electrical Appliances, said that Universal owns three factories for household appliances and 11 factories for the feeding industries, covering 70% of the needs of the company in terms of manufacturing materials.
He said in his speech, during a visit to the company’s factory, that Universal started in 1984 with one factory, confirming that the company currently possesses 14 factories in which 15,000 workers are employed, producing 1.2m cookers and 700,000 heaters annually.
He added that the company exports its products to 80 countries around the world, shipping them to European and African countries as well as to Australia. The factory manufactures heaters for other commercial brands such as Hyundai Company.
