Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El-Molla said that Kuwait Energy has achieved significant financial results in its concession areas.
This came during his meeting with Kuwait Energy’s interim CEO Abdel “Abby” Badwi to discuss the company’s work programmes in its concession areas.
During the meeting, they discussed the investment opportunities available to the company in the field of oil and gas exploration and production in the North African country.
“Kuwait Energy is one of the successful companies that operate in the oil sector in Egypt,” El-Molla said.
In this context, he pointed out the positive participation of the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) with the company to develop the fields of Faihaa and Siba in Iraq, explaining that they are a successful model for fruitful joint cooperation outside Egypt.
On the other hand, the chairperson of Kuwait Energy assured that the company is looking forward to achieving more successes in its concession areas in Egypt and to participating in international oil and gas tenders that will be launched by the petroleum sector for oil and gas searches and explorations.
Kuwait Energy is an independent oil and gas company engaged in the exploration, appraisal, development, and production of hydrocarbons.
