French delegation to visit Egypt seeking investment opportunities next week

CCI International Normandie is organising with Business France a visit to Egypt for a delegation of French companies in the agriculture, health, environment, infrastructure, and oil and gas sectors.

The delegation will visit Egypt from 22 to 24 April to discuss and study investment cooperation with Egyptian companies and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and to study the Egyptian companies’ needs to be met, according to the director of Business France’s Cairo bureau (le bureau de Business France du Caire), Ludovic Prévost.

Prévost elaborated that the French companies will meet with private and public Egyptian companies that are operating in their sectors.

Prévost added that some of these companies are studying cooperation with Egyptian counterparts to launch business in Egypt for the first time, in addition to expanding in the Egyptian market and initiating modern technologies for the industry sector.

He also said that other companies of the delegation are keen on contracting with some Egyptian small and medium companies to be their agents in the country.

The delegation will include Deremaux, a manufacturer of ampoule filling machines and Morphosis, which is a modern and innovative company specialising in the recycling and analysis of the lifecycles of electrical and electronic equipment. It will also include Seliance, which specialises in certified seed production, and SIMOP, which is specialised in the manufacture of single-block tanks of polyethylene, GRP, and steel in rainwater and wastewater treatment. Muthec, which designs, manufactures, and markets automatic pumps for fire safety applications in the oil and gas sector, will also participate in the delegation next week.
