Banque du Caire signed a cooperation protocol with the Governorate of Minya in the field of investment and marketing of assets owned by the governorate, supported by the technical skills possessed by Banque du Caire and the available mechanisms and tools to promote and manage assets of all kinds.

The protocol was signed by Tarek Fayed, chairperson of the bank, and Minya Governor Essam Eldin El-Bedewy.

According to Fayed, this step is particularly important, as it aims to open new horizons and areas of cooperation with the governorate of Minya. He pointed out that joint mechanisms are being discussed between Banque du Caire and Minya to provide various banking services to the residents of the governorate.

Fayed stressed the keenness of Banque du Caire to be intensively present in Upper Egypt governorates, especially Minya, to provide its banking services to the public and to contribute in financing projects of the governorate’s residents, in line with the bank’s vision and the state’s direction towards achieving financial inclusion.

He pointed out that Banque du Caire is taking a number of measures in the field of small and medium enterprises in order to encourage youth in various governorates of Egypt to adopt a culture of entrepreneurship and establish successful projects.

For his part, El-Bedewy stressed the importance of the agreement in order to make maximum use of Banque du Caire’s expertise, which is one of the largest banks operating in Egypt’s banking sector, with 230 branches across the republic.

El-Bedewy added that Banque du Caire has extensive experience in the management and promotion of real estate assets. He explained that the governorate has many assets in the form of land; commercial, administrative, and residential units; parking lots; markets; and other assets, thus contributing to the overall development of the governorate and the best exploitation of its resources.
