Chairperson of Triple M, Hatem El-Roumy, said the negotiations are underway with KarmSolar to carry out civil and electrical works for the solar power plant. The agreement to implement the project is expected to be concluded within a few weeks.
He explained that Triple M has recently cooperated with KarmSolar in the implementation of a solar power plant with a capacity of 6MW in Minya, and is looking forward for further cooperation in the coming period.
On the other hand, Triple M has signed a contract with Solaris Installations to participate in the implementation of a 7.2MW solar power plant for the Arabian Cement Company. The civil engineering works of the project will start within days.
Furthermore, El-Roumy announced the signing of a contract with several companies to participate in the implementation of a 100MW wind power plant in the Tafileh area in Jordan.
Triple M aims to participate in several projects being implemented by the government and the private sector to diversify its energy sources, and has launched negotiations with three companies to carry out projects in and outside Egypt.
The company seeks in the current period to cooperate with Arab and foreign companies located in Aswan, in order to provide the support and services needed by the people in Aswan under the company’s social responsibility, El-Roumy explained. This is currently being accomplished as the company opened its doors to train young people to operate and maintain solar power plants, he highlighted.
