Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi stressed Egypt’s support to the stability and security of Sudan during his meeting with the vice president of Sudan’s Transitional Military Council General Mohamed Hassan Dagalo (Hemeti) in Cairo on Monday.
Al-Sisi and Hemeti discussed the developments in Sudan and aspects of bilateral cooperation in different fields, including the electricity interconnection project, according to the Egyptian presidency spokesperson Bassam Rady.
Al-Sisi also met on Monday with King Abdullah II of Jordan in Cairo, added Rady.
The visit comes within the framework of the close relations between the two countries and the keenness of the two political leaders to push forward the bilateral relations and give them the necessary momentum in various fields to achieve the common interest of, as well as exchanging views on regional and international issues of common concern.
The two leaders discussed boosting bilateral ties and the regional developments.
