Digital Planets, which specialises in providing technical solutions in Egypt and the Middle East, has announced that it signed a joint cooperation agreement with Swvl, a mass participatory transport services in Egypt, to secure its services and operations, within the state’s plan for digital transformation.
According to a press release issued yesterday by Digital Planets, the cooperation project is divided into two phases, the first includes the insurance of the facility, specifically the operation phases. The second phase includes securing the application and continuing to safely operate it, which is reflected in securing credit card data used to pay the cost of services.
This cooperation comes supported by the latest security systems and solutions provided by the English company Sophos, provided by Digital Planets. The cooperation also includes the provision of Call Centre services in cooperation with 3CX, which Digital Planets is an agent for in Egypt.
Ahmed Hanafy, CEO of Digital Planets, said that a plan is in place to implement the entire cooperation project before the end of the first quarter of 2020, indicating that this cooperation is one of the most important contracts concluded by the company during the last quarter of 2019, especially after a series of successful partnerships recently signed by the company, the latest of which is a partnership with Cisco and VMWare aimed at expanding its business in the Egyptian market during 2020.
Digital Planets is a major partner of Telecom Egypt (WE), which is one of the providers of communications and information technology solutions in Egypt and the Middle East, to provide high-quality communications and information technology services.
