The Internet market added about 600,000 new users in October, bringing the total number of Internet users from 48.8 million customers in September to 49.4 million customers during the month of October.
According to the report issued in January of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the number of mobile Internet users increased from 38.2 million in September to 38.7 million in October, an increase of 500,000 customers.
The number of Internet customers through USB Modem devices increased to 3.58 million customers in October compared to 3.56 million customers in September, while the number of ADSL fixed internet customers increased slightly to 7.17 million in October, compared to 7.12 million in September.
The number of users of the Internet market increased by about one million new users during September compared to August, with the support of Internet users via USB Modem devices.
As the number of Internet subscribers via USB Modem increased significantly, the number of Internet users through USB Modem increased by almost 700,000 users.
The number of USB Modem users increased from 2.87 million users in August to 3.5 million users in September.
The number of mobile Internet users increased to 38.17 million in September, compared to 37.9 million in August.
The number of fixed internet users also increased during September to 7.1 million users compared to 7 million users in August, according to the report.
On the other hand, the number of fixed-line users decreased to 8.4 million in September, compared to 8.7 million in August.
