Kayan Egypt, the official agent for Škoda in Egypt, has launched the new facelift for the 2021 Škoda Superb. To find out how it performed, Daily News Egypt test drove the car.

Interior Design

The interior of the Superb was smooth and contoured, featuring a dashboard with a touch control screen. The car also comes with many systems that provide various means of comfort and enjoyment for the driver, including a portable mobile connectivity feature, in addition to the GPS service.

Inside the cabin, there are digital meters that can be controlled and adjusted using the multifunction steering wheel, in addition to LED lighting of 40 colours.

The car features a transmission system with six gears in the upper class of the car, and seven gears in the lower category. It also features manual transmission that uses shift pedals, and includes an economic mode and a sport mode.

The interior of the car is now more spacious than the first generation of the car, which reinforces the impression that it is a family car and gives a feeling of more space.

The car boasts leather-lined sports seats that can be controlled electrically that give it a chic appearance, in addition to the panoramic sunroof.

It also has a cold/hot air conditioning system that provides drivers and passengers with a feeling that they can moderate and control the in-vehicle temperate over all seasons of the year. The car is equipped with a number of USB and Type C ports with an air-conditioner box, which can serve as a mini-fridge. Not only that, the car uses EBD, ABS, and ESP braking systems.

Exterior design

The Škoda Superb features 18-inch sport rims on the tyres that provide stronger stability whilst driving in the upper class and 17 inches in the lowest.

Also available in the car are all luxury systems, including Active Parking Assist, a rear camera, four sensors, and Attention Assist.

The Škoda Superb is distinguished by its front and rear LED lights, in addition to changes that have been made to the car’s grille. The new grille ensures that the front of the car has been taken over by the colour black, making the car’s shape more streamlined.
