Egypt’s Ministry of Education and Technical Education confirmed, on Sunday, that the practical examination for technical diplomas will be held from 5 June to 17 June. Meanwhile, the written exams for the diplomas will take place between 19 June and 1 July.
Making the announcement during a video conference, the ministry said that the general directors of technical education will monitor the preparations for the technical diploma exams.
It also confirmed the need to apply the precautionary measures against the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic during the examination process.
The ministry said that no more than 14 students will be present in each examination class, and that it will also provide the vaccine against COVID-19 for all participants in public examinations.
About 750,000 students have applied to take the technical diploma exams this year in different schools for industrial, agricultural, commercial, hotel, dual education, and training programmes.
The number of system and control committees for technical diploma examinations in all sectors stands at 24, whilst the number of management committees for technical diploma examinations in all sectors reached 23.
It is worth noting that the grading exams for technical diplomas will start on 26 June, with about 50,000 teachers from different programmes taking part.
