An English newspaper ranked Egyptian footballer Mohamed Salah among the top 10 players in the first gameweek of the English Premier League.
Liverpool star Mo Salah ranked third in the list after his brilliant performance in the Norwich City match, scoring a goal and contributing in two others.
The newspaper said Liverpool fans remember how their former player Luis Suarez used to score regularly against Norwich, but now Salah is the player the Canary fear most in the Reds team.
The Egyptian winger now has 2 goals and 3 assists in three matches against Norwich City.
Liverpool suffered a lack of creativity in their attacking line last season, but the problem appeared to be resolved in the pre-season matches and the opener game of the season thanks to Salah.
The newspaper said, “The 29-year-old winger helped teammates Diego Jota and Roberto Firmino to score and get the first three points.”
Salah also broke a Premier League record against Norwich being the first player to ever score in five consecutive Premier League openers.
Salah scored his first goal for Liverpool in the Premier League on 12 August 2017, in their 3-3 draw against Watford.
Last season, Salah scored a hat-trick in Liverpool’s 4-3 victory over Leeds United at Anfield stadium, and became the only player in Liverpool’s history to score in the opening match of the Premier League for four consecutive seasons.
