Ramadan Sobhi, the Egyptian national team player, scored his second international goal with the Pharaohs against Libya after an absence of 5.5 years. Sobhi’s first goal with the Egyptian national team was against Nigeria in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers on 29 March 2016.
Sobhi, coming from the bench in the second half, presented a distinguished performance, and the player’s effort appeared clearly and crowned it with a wonderful goal.
The Egyptian team won a precious victory over Libya, by three clean goals, in the match that took place on Monday evening in the fourth round of the African qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
With this victory, Egypt climbed to the top of Group F in the World Cup qualifiers with 10 points, while Libya’s balance froze at 6 points, while Gabon came in third place with 4 points, and finally Angola was in fourth place with 3 points.
The Egyptian national team, led by Carlos Queiroz, succeeded in regaining the memory of winning abroad with three goals, after defeating the Libyan team in its own home, at the Benina Martyrs Stadium in Benghazi, by three goals.
