Based on its successes locally and regionally, Data Management Systems (DMS) announced on Saturday that it received approval from the Council of Cooperative Health Insurance in Saudi Arabia (CCHI) to operate in the kingdom.
This makes DMS the first Egyptian company working in the health software and solutions sector in Saudi Arabia.
The company being selected reflects the successes achieved by the company in the medical sector in KSA.
The CCHI is the body responsible for accrediting health service providers and setting the necessary medical service standards to resolve disputes related to the settlement of claims between service providers and insurance companies.
DMS has obtained a technical solution that can become an intermediary between insurance companies and any medical facility in order to facilitate the patient eligibility process flow, speed up communication, reduce rejection, and manage the payment cycle in financial claim processes.
The company plays the role of a technical provider of programmes by integrating health providing clients with entire insurance companies through the National Platform for the Health Insurance Exchange System (NPHIES) portal.
DMS has also taken part in the accreditation of certificates provided to more than 20 hospitals and medical centres, with the number of hospitals expected to double over the coming period.
The council, headed by the Saudi Minister of Health, aims to provide and organise health care for all workers in the private sector and their families and work to enhance the health of beneficiaries through a regulatory environment that focuses on prevention and enabling stakeholders to achieve justice, transparency, quality and efficiency.
The NPHIES platform will provide visibility and transparency for all beneficiaries in the kingdom using the latest technologies to enhance the level and quality of health services and providing unified, accurate, and integrated data.
In the Egyptian market, DMS is the ideal partner for the government and the private sector in digital transformation, as the digital solutions owned by DMS contribute to increasing productivity and profits.
The top features of digital transformation projects are the ability to save time, effort, cost, and facilitate business. DMS works with bodies and institutions to help them keep pace with transformation through a set of solutions and products that serve the industrial, commercial, and health sectors, especially that automation and digital transformation projects are considered one of the national projects that the Egyptian state is paying great attention to because of their impact on providing government services of all kinds.
The solutions offered by DMS include many international products that provide database technology, storage and data retrieval programmes, protection programmes, and mobile applications.
The company has contributed to the implementation of a number of national projects, such as the system for treating citizens at the expense of the state; the presidential initiative to end waiting lists; the mechanisation of the Saudi Telecom Company; the mechanisation of blood banks in the KSA; the mechanisation of the Insurance and Pensions Authority in Egypt, Sudan, and Yemen; in addition to the automation of more than 200 factories, 100 companies, and 70 hospitals in the Middle East and Africa; along with other major projects.
