Hisham Talaat Moustafa, CEO and Managing Director of Talaat Moustafa Group (TMG) Holding stated that the group has allocated more than EGP 5bn in the last five years to invest in the field of community development.
During the signing ceremony of a cooperation protocol between the Arab Company for Projects and Urban Development, a subsidiary of TMG, and the Ministry of Education and Technical Education to establish a new school for applied technology, Hisham Talaat Moustafa said that TMG believes in the need to embody its CSR as a “moral and professional value” that guarantees real development for society and citizen life.
He pointed out that the TMG was committed to making long-term investments in order to achieve the sustainable benefit, by adopting and implementing initiatives that contribute to building people, creating the future and serving society in all fields, especially in sectors of health, education, economic empowerment, and qualifying students for the labour market and community development.
Hisham Talaat Moustafa added that the new Applied Technology School, for which the cooperation protocol was signed for its establishment, will be opened in the next academic year 2023-2024. The school will be specialized in landscaping, as one of the main areas that are witnessing remarkable growth in Egypt’s real estate market.
He noted that this school will become the second applied school supported by the group after Metwally El-Shaarawy School of Applied Technology, which succeeded in graduating hundreds of students who immediately joined the labour market.
Hisham Talaat Moustafa suggested that the name of Sonaa El Ghad (Tomorrow Makers) be given to a series of new applied schools, in order to express the content of vision and desired goals for this country, and for its graduates to feel their importance and responsibility towards rebuilding the country.
He expressed his happiness with the fruitful cooperation between the TMG and the Ministry of Education and stated that the group will complete its SCR role in supporting technical education and upgrading human cadres, believing that human being is the main axis and focal point for comprehensive and sustainable development.
Mohamed Megahed, Deputy Minister for Technical Education Affairs, and Hisham Talaat Moustafa, CEO and Managing Director of TMG Holding have signed the cooperation protocol and the signing ceremony was attended by Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, in the presence of a number of ministry leaders and the TMG’s officials.
