HDB opens new branch in New Cairo, expanding its network across Egypt

The Housing and Development Bank (HDB) inaugurated its “Les Roi” branch in New Cairo, joining its network of branches in all governorates. The opening ceremony was attended by Hassan Ghanem, CEO and Managing Director; Walid Matar, Assistant Managing Director for Retail Banking, Branches and Real Estate Finance; and other senior executives of the bank.

The new branch is part of HDB’s strategy to expand its geographical reach and align with the Central Bank of Egypt’s (CBE) policy to promote financial inclusion. The bank aims to cover various regions and serve a large base of existing and potential customers with high-quality banking services. The bank plans to increase the number of its branches to 100 and its ATMs to over 440.

The “Les Roi” branch in New Cairo also features a service center for HDB Royal VIP customers, offering them exclusive services and meeting their needs with excellence and professionalism. The center also provides financial and non-financial advice to help customers manage their money effectively.

Hassan Ghanem, CEO and Managing Director of HDB, said that the bank was able to continue and complete its expansion plan on both the geographical and business development levels, despite the current challenges. He emphasized the bank’s success in improving its brand image and establishing its position as a comprehensive commercial bank.

Ghanem also highlighted the bank’s focus on developing and enhancing its banking activities and services, while maintaining the quality of services delivered to customers. He added that the bank offers innovative banking products and solutions based on thorough studies and analysis of the banking market. This aims to boost its competitive edge and market share, following the demands of the banking market and the rules of competition, while seizing all available opportunities and following up constantly.
