SODIC, a leading Egyptian real estate developer, and Marriott International have signed an agreement to introduce the Tribute Portfolio brand to Egypt with two new hotels.

The hotels, slated to open in West Cairo in 2027 and on the North Coast in 2029, will join Tribute Portfolio’s growing global network of independent hotels known for their distinctive designs and lively social atmospheres.

The first hotel, located in SODIC’s Forty West residential complex in West Cairo, will feature 170 guest rooms, including 48 suites, and offer a range of dining and recreational facilities. Conveniently situated near the newly opened Sphinx Airport, the hotel will also provide easy access to the Grand Egyptian Museum and the Giza Pyramids.

The second Tribute Portfolio Hotel, scheduled to open in 2029, will be located in SODIC’s June development in Ras al Hekma on the North Coast. Inspired by Miami’s vibrant beachfront scene, the hotel will boast 180 guest rooms and various dining and leisure amenities.

“The Tribute Portfolio brand allows SODIC to create hospitality offerings that truly reflect the developments’ ethos,” said Ayman Amer, SODIC’s General Manager. “We look forward to bringing these hotels to life as we continue our journey in the hospitality sector.”

Sandeep Walia, Chief Operating Officer – Middle East at Marriott International, added, “We continue to see a growing demand for independent hotel experiences, and the signing of these two Tribute Portfolio Hotels marks an important milestone for the brand in Egypt.

Egypt remains an exciting growth market for Marriott, and we look forward to collaborating with SODIC to bring the brand’s authentic and vibrant experiences to landmark developments in West Cairo and North Coast.”
