Iran plans to unveil a new anti-cancer vaccine in the summer of 2025, according to the institute established under the supervision of the Iranian Ministry of Science, Research and Technology.
The vaccine is designed to target various types of cancer, as reported by Mehr News Agency, a partner of TV BRICS. Institute representatives highlighted the success of domestic companies in advancing this technology, noting they are currently capable of meeting 70 per cent of national demand.
Researchers at the institute expressed confidence that these companies will soon be able to supply the country’s full requirements for the vaccine. This achievement is expected to significantly reduce reliance on imported medications and enhance treatment accessibility for patients.
