Saib Bank appoints two non-executive board members after CBE approval

Saib Bank has appointed Mohamed Onsy El-Beshouty and Abdel Khalek Farag El-Wazir as non-executive board members, representing Arab Contractors Investment Company.

The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) approved El-Beshouty’s appointment on 25 June 2024, and El-Wazir’s on 7 October 2024. Their appointments were subsequently confirmed by Prime Ministerial Decree No. 809 of 2025, issued on 11 March 2025, allowing them to hold executive roles at Arab Contractors “Osman Ahmed Osman” while serving on Saib Bank’s board.

El-Beshouty brings extensive expertise in finance and accounting and currently serves as Vice Chairperson of Arab Contractors “Osman Ahmed Osman & Co.” He is also a board member at Arab Contractors Investment Company and Al Wadi Al Akhdar for Investment and Development.

Previously, he was a board member at Arab Contractors (2012–2023) and has held several senior roles within the company, including General Manager of Financial Affairs and Supply Administration (2011–2012) and Deputy General Manager of Financial Affairs and Supply Administration (2007–2011). Earlier in his career, he led investment monitoring and economic studies (2003–2007).

El-Beshouty has also served on the boards of multiple companies, including Suez Canal Bank, El Salhiya Investment and Development, Mostakbal Urban Development, Arab Contractors Medical Center, Suez Canal Auto Maintenance and Repair, and Alu Misr.

El-Wazir has over 27 years of experience in construction, project planning, and large-scale development management. He currently serves as Vice Chairman of Arab Contractors and was previously a board member of the company from April 2023 to August 2024.

He has also held senior leadership positions and board memberships at Al-Nahda Cement Company and Suez Canal Life Insurance Company, where he has served since August 2023.

With these strategic appointments, Saib Bank strengthens its governance structure, reinforcing its commitment to financial expertise and industry leadership.
