Al-Ahly Squash Open concludes its events on Wednesday

Al-Ahly Squash Open, which started on 3 February, concluded its events on Wednesday.  What made this tournament special is the large number of players participating in it: a total of 354.

On Wednesday 8 February, Al-Ahly Sporting Club celebrated the closing ceremony in the presence of Assem Khalifa, president of the Egyptian Squash Association; Karim Abdel Gawad, ranked second internationally and most recent squash champion; and Nour El-Sherbini, ranked first internationally and most recent female squash champion.

In this occasion, Abdel Gawad said, “I am so happy to be present here, in the place where I was playing ten years ago,” expressing his satisfaction about the development of squash courts made by the club.
