CAIRO: Egypt’s stock exchange and banks will be closed on Sunday, July 24, for the national public holiday of "Revolution Day", which marks Egypt’s 1952 revolution, the central bank and a bourse spokesman on Thursday.
Trading will resume on Monday, July 25.
Revolution Day, celebrated on July 23, falls on a Saturday. The cabinet had announced earlier this week that Sunday, July 24, will be a day off instead.
