The cost of the Suez Canal Development Project’s infrastructure is expected to be $15bn, operations manager of Dar Al-Handasah Yehia Zaki told Daily News Egypt Sunday.
Discussing the capacity, Zaki added that the electricity supplied to the project is expected to be six gW. The supply of water will be 3.8m sqm and the water irrigation will be some 3.5m sqm.
The comprehensive project plan will be announced within two weeks.
