The number of Algerian tourists who will visit Egypt will be approximately 1.5 million, starting this year, Algerian Prime Minister Abdelmalek Al-Sallal has told Daily News Egypt.
“We asked Prime Minister Mehleb to facilitate procedures of Algerian tourists’ arrival in Egypt during this year,” Al-Sallal said.
On the sidelines of the Economic Summit’s second day in Sharm El-Sheikh, Al-Sallal said Mehleb promised the Algerian delegation all procedures relevant to Algerian tourists arriving in Egypt will be facilitated as soon as possible.
Regarding the beginning of exporting gas to Egypt, Al-Sallal said Algeria is committed to providing Egypt with the needed natural gas. This comes as a contribution to activating the Egyptian economy and helping the country overcome the energy crisis.
Al-Sallal added that he met with Egyptian Minister of Interior Magdi Abdel-Ghaffar, Prime Minister Mehleb, and the Algerian Ambassador in Cairo, in the presence of the Algerian Minister of Industry.
