The International Data Corporation (IDC) will hold its second annual Egypt CIO Summit, in partnership with Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), on 11 April.
The conference will be titled “Leading Your Organization’s Digital Transformation”. According to IDC, the event will mark the “largest gathering of CIOs, business heads, and technology thought leaders in Egypt.”
“Egypt is increasingly being exposed to a new wave of disruptive technologies that present incredible opportunities to drive innovation and value creation across all facets of the organization,” said Jyoti Lalchandani, IDC’s vice president and regional managing director for the Middle East, Africa, and Turkey.
“At IDC, we believe the single most important competency required to thrive in this new digital economy is the ability to rapidly respond to changing conditions within the ecosystem in which the organization resides,” Lalchandani added.
“The ultimate aim must be to deliver a compelling customer experience that seamlessly blends the digital and the physical worlds, but success in this regard will only come with a whole new level of enterprise-wide collaboration that encompasses the entire CxO value chain.”
IDC will hold two workshops on the sidelines of the event and will feature four technology-focused tracks, presenting insights into the issues shaping ICT investments.
