CAIRO: Ahly are looking to win exclusive TV rights to broadcasting team matches for the next two seasons, FilGoal.com has learnt.
An official request was sent to the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) by the Cairo club, enquiring about the possibility of buying-out the team s matches from other TV stations.
Ahly TV will be launched on Aug. 6, when the Egyptian champions entertain Serie A giants AS Roma in a friendly at Cairo Stadium.
