CAIRO: Ahly have reached an agreement with the national team to keep Ahmed Fathi and Ahmed Hassan for next week s Confederation Cup tie with Santos of Angola.

Mohamed Abou-Trika, Wael Gomaa and Sayed Moawad will join the Egypt squad, which means that Fathi and Hassan stay with Ahly, Egypt team coach Hamada Sedki told FilGoal.com.

The Red Devils will play on Saturday May 30 in Viana as Egypt face Oman in a friendly on the same day.

The fixtures clash was about to cause a rift between both parties, but it now seems settled after they agreed on splitting players between them.

Fathi and Hassan will join their Egypt mates immediately after the Santos tie, before the World Cup qualifier in Algeria on June 6.

Ahly boast a comfortable lead over the Angolan minnows, following the 3-0 round of 16 first-leg win in Cairo.
