Third Field Army operations raided one of the most dangerous terrorist spots in Central Sinai, where it killed 15 militants and arrested 7 others, according to a statement from the armed forces spokesperson on Thursday.
During the raid, two bombs exploded and resulted in killing three police officers and seven conscripts.
The armed forces seized large quantities of weapons, bombs, and electronics during the raid.
